The Gulf of Pevero
Two beaches, the Grande and Piccolo Pevero, open right in the center of the Gulf, near the Monti Zuppo nature area.
Known the world over for their fine, white sand and endless shades of blue sea, they enjoy a shallow, sandy seabed that makes them perfect for families who want to enjoy the sea in complete relaxation, even with young children.
Completing the enchanting panorama are the Li Nibani Islands, which frame the Gulf horizon.
Behind the Grande Pevero beach you can enjoy the scents of the Mediterranean maquis, rich in myrtle and arbutus shrubs and centuries-old junipers; or explore the "La Padula" pond, populated by a wide variety of wildlife species and a stopping point for many migratory species.
Also within easy reach is the well-kept Pevero Golf Club course, a top destination for those who love the sport, thanks in part to the spectacular natural setting in which it is set.
More intimate, Piccolo Pevero offers open beach spaces that allow for a totally independent experience of this exceptional coastline.
The Gulf of Pevero, because of its conformation, also offers special shelter from the winds, which on the coast of Sardinia can become very intense and make time spent outdoors less relaxing.
A small area that has much to offer in terms of beauty, relaxation, and activities.
